Rhoda Isaacs' Scholarship
The annual Rhoda Isaacs Scholarship 2009 The New York City Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP-NYC) is pleased to announce our 2009 Annual Scholarship. The Roundtable will be awarding (1) one scholarship for tuition reimbursement in the amount of $1,000 to a local undergraduate student interested in pursuing a career in supply chain or logistics management. The purpose of this program is to further the Council’s educational goals while supporting the academic development of students seeking a career in this field.

- The CSCMP-NYC Scholarship Selection Committee reserves the right to make the final selection of the winning applicant based upon their submitted information, including all required documentation. Each application will be given fair and equal consideration. The recipient will be selected without regard to race, color, sex, religion, or national origin.
- The CSCMP-NYC Scholarship Committee will present its recommendation to the Executive Board for final review and approval after personal interviews with the three selected finalists.
- The President and Education Chair of the CSCMP-NYC Roundtable will inform all applicants of the decisions and award.
- The scholarship will be awarded at the first event of the Roundtable Schedule following the submission deadline.

Essay Requirements
Submit a typed, double spaced, 500 word essay responding to the following topic:
“As today’s businesses become increasingly global the necessity for end-to-end supply chain solutions has increased. Select a current strategy or method that an organization is utilizing to increase their efficiencies in the supply chain and provide your outlook on its long term success potential.”
Additional Opportunities
Based on the applications received, the CSCMP-NYC Roundtable Education Committee reserves the right to select one of the scholarship applicants to represent the New York City Roundtable at the Annual Global Conference to be held in Chicago, Illinois September 20 – 23, 2009.
- Student Representative must have/obtain CSCMP student membership to represent the Roundtable at the Conference.
- If a Student Representative is selected, the Roundtable President or Education Chair will inform all applicants of the decisions and award.
- The Student Representative will be announced at the first event of the Roundtable Schedule following the Scholarship submission deadline.
