across functions both internally and externally:
outsourcing – growth of 3pl, 4pls; Globalization,
Reverse Logistics, Integration, aggressive service goals.
But how can one collaborate, when, in realty: Leadership
is not aligned, culture/values differ across groups; phone
calls aren’t returned; styles are counterproductive to
collaboration; trust busting behavior show up;
collaborative decisions take too long.
This
session will outline the critical skills necessary to
overcome these challenges and respond to the collaborative
leadership challenge.

Bit About our Speaker
Judith
Anderson founded her consulting practice, Anderson &
Rust in 1991. Working at the senior level with some of
the largest corporations in the country, she brings
unique strengths to the task of helping companies
achieve meaningful business results while facilitating
individual and team development. Prior to founding
Anderson & Rust, Ms. Anderson served as Director of
Marketing for Ryder Systems. During the mid 70’s she
worked with Mercer Management Consultants. She also
served as Director of Corporate Planning for Union
Pacific Corporation. Ms. Anderson received a Master of
Science degree in Economics from
North Carolina
State
University
and her undergraduate degree in Economics from
University
of
Houston. She is the author of The Path to Corporate Nirvana: An
Enlightened Approach to Accelerated Productivity.
