our Panelists
Gary
Girotti
Mr.
Girotti heads up the transportation practice at
Chainalytics LLC, and joined the firm in 2003. He and
his team have conducted over 100 transportation
engagements in the areas of transportation procurement,
operational modeling and transportation operations
improvements. Prior to joining Chainalytics, Gary
spent 6 years with i2 and was responsible for managing
product development and marketing delivery of i2’s
logistics solutions. Before joining i2,
Gary
worked as a consultant with Bain and Company, in Canada.
Gary
holds an MBA from the
University
of
Western Ontario
and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from
Carleton
University
in Ottawa, Canada.
Joseph
Lombardo
Joe
Lombardo is the Group Manager, Transportation Logistics
for Nestle USA
. He has been with Nestle for 14 years, moving through
the transportation department. He was previously with
Nabisco where he spent 11 years in the transportation
department, as well. Joe has a BS in Marketing from St.
Peter’s
College
of
New Jersey. He is currently an adjunct instructor at
Elmhurst College, Center for Business and Economics, Graduate program of
Supply Chain Management.
Kevin
McCarthy
Kevin
McCarthy has 20+ years in the transportation business,
and has worked for major discount retailers, a small
private label food shippers and C.H. Robinson. He is in
a unique position of having both bought and sold TL
transportation during his career and currently works
with customers on how to best procure TL transportation.
He is currently the Manager of Logistics Services for
Robinson. Kevin holds a undergraduate degree from the
University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business with
an emphasis in Marketing. He also has an MBA from
Carlson School of business with an emphasis in Management Information
Systems.
