While the concept of supply chain collaboration has been around for a while, many organizations have had difficulty cultivating the the benefits that have been promised.  But, given today's tightening carrier capacity, high fuel costs, port congestion, driver shortages, security issues, etc., more trading partners are taking real steps towards serious supply chain collaboration and finally seeing the benefits.

Joel Sutherland provided an overview of the transportation industry and addresses specific opportunities for collaboration.  Starting with his first taste of "real" collaboration from his experience at Denso, Toyota Group's giant auto parts manufacturer, Joel will provide real-world examples of successful collaboration, and describe how you can overcome the obstacles so many supply chains experience when attempting to collaborate.
